This blog began with the wildflower blooming season in 2010. I post randomly-whenever we get out to look at flowers. I am located in Jefferson County, Colorado, and that is primarily where the information for this blog originates. Thanks to my three dogs who need long daily walks and who like to explore all our area parks. Without them, I wouldn't get out as often.

Diffuse knapweed (Acosta diffusa)
The Green Mountain Dog Park this morning was very dried up. The 100 degree heat has taken its toll. Diffuse knapweed (Acosta diffusa) and alfalfa (Medicago sativa) are blooming.
