This blog began with the wildflower blooming season in 2010. I post randomly-whenever we get out to look at flowers. I am located in Jefferson County, Colorado, and that is primarily where the information for this blog originates. Thanks to my three dogs who need long daily walks and who like to explore all our area parks. Without them, I wouldn't get out as often.

Wax currant (Ribes cereum)
We took a quick run to Rattlesnake Ridge early this morning and saw wax currant had begun blooming along with golden banner, musineon, and an alyssum.
