This blog began with the wildflower blooming season in 2010. I post randomly-whenever we get out to look at flowers. I am located in Jefferson County, Colorado, and that is primarily where the information for this blog originates. Thanks to my three dogs who need long daily walks and who like to explore all our area parks. Without them, I wouldn't get out as often.

Mountain mahogany (Cercocarpus montanus)
Starwort
Sunday afternoon Clear Creek Canyon-Boulder raspberry (Oreobatus deliciosus), mountain mahogany (Cercocarpus montanus), and starwort, species unknown (Stellaria sp.) are flowering. On our morning dog walk, I noticed flowers on Russian olive (Elaeagnus angustifolia).
