

We've jumped headlong into summer weather this week. Some yellow, semi-weedy flowers are now blooming. Black medic (
medicago lupulina), Yellow sweetclover (
Melilotus officinalis), and Yellow salsify (
Tragopogon dubius major) all popped out in force this week.
Hey Wildflower Girl - love though pictures of native wildflowers. But lets make sure you call out these non-native aggressive plants for what they are - troublesome weeds that are not healthy parts of desirable landscapes nor of native ecosystems.
