The wildflowers are just starting to bloom this year. Today we found henbit (Lamium amplexicaule), blue mustard (Chorispora tenella), dandelion (Taraxacum sp.), common mallow (Malva neglecta), tansy mustard (Descurainia sophia), few-flowered alyssum (Alyssum parviflorum), and a white mustard.
This blog began with the wildflower blooming season in 2010. I post randomly-whenever we get out to look at flowers. I am located in Jefferson County, Colorado, and that is primarily where the information for this blog originates. Thanks to my three dogs who need long daily walks and who like to explore all our area parks. Without them, I wouldn't get out as often.
